i thought the days of wind up action features was long gone. im curious as to how well it will work. it would be cool to have a dozen or so of these guys kinda stumbling around in one area

Hard to say without seeing one in person. I feel the same way though, I thought those days were long gone. Personally I don't think the figures need a gimmick, and I don't think the folks they should be marketing to would care if they were without it. I certainly don't.
